- 1922
The founder, Otozo Sakazaki, opened the Sakazaki Engraving Industry in Ikenohata, Ueno. Started manufacturing stamped steel and stamped alloys.
- 1933
Imported a three-dimensional Engraving machine from Dekkel in Germany and established a Mechanical Engraving field.
- 1941
Sakazaki Engraving earned Army and Navy factory certification, attesting to its quality and expertise in engraving services for military applications.
This designation reflects our commitment to meeting stringent standards.
- 1949
Sakazaki Engraving Industry Co., Ltd. underwent reorganization and relocated to 4-chome, Shimo-dori, Shibuya, Japan. The strategic relocation signified the company's commitment to growth and development in its new location.
- 1957
We developed and sold the 3D manual engraving machine and plane engraving machine "SP-1."

- 1964
Sakazaki engraved 7,700 torches for the Tokyo Olympic Torch Relay, showcasing its precision and contribution to the prestigious event.

Sakazaki established and relocated its new factory to Hiroo 1-chome, Shibuya ward, Japan to enhance company's operations and presence in a new location.

Established and relocated a new Yokohama factory equipped with the latest machinery and equipment in Tsuzuki ward, Yokohama City, Japan.
- 1994
A Large Machining Centre was introduced as die-cut rolls grew larger, adapting to the evolving industry demands. This implementation enhanced our capability to handle larger-scale projects and contributed to our continued success in machining.
- 1999
We opened the Osaka office to strengthen our foundation in the Kansai region, Japan. This expansion facilitated better engagement with clients in the area and contributed to our company's broader regional presence.
- 2000
Sakazaki Engraving Industry (Kunshan) Co., Ltd. was established in Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province, China, as part of the our company's expansion. It played a crucial role in extending Sakazaki's operations into the Chinese market, showcasing its commitment to international growth.

The Yokohama factory was renovated, and a new type of NC was introduced to enhance precision in the flat die department. The renovation and technology upgrade were pivotal in elevating our die-production capabilities.
- 2007
Sakazaki Engraving (Shenzhen) Industry Co. Ltd. established its presence in Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, China, as a strategic expansion into the Chinese market.
- 2011
Sakazaki Engraving India Private Limited was established in Chennai, India, as part of the company's global expansion strategy. This move was crucial in broadening Sakazaki's operations and presence in the Indian market, marking a significant milestone in the company's history. Establishing the Chennai subsidiary was critical to strengthening Sakazaki's international footprint.

Expanded Yokohama factory to handle more volume of products.
